High in the mountains of southwestern Uganda, the Kigezi Highlands stretch across a dramatic landscape of terraced hills, volcanic ranges, and high-altitude lakes. This microlot comes from a network of more than 300 smallholder farmers working in the region with Kigezi Valley Coffee and Mountain Harvest. At 2,000–2,200 meters above sea level, coffee here develops slowly in the cool mountain climate.
