Producer: The Martinez family has called Xalapa-Coatepec, Mexico, home for generations, and the farm there was started by Alejandro Martinez's great-great-grandfather, Antonio Martinez. Alejandro plants rust-resistant varieties in separate plots, so quality and yield can be compared plot against plot and he can see which varieties work on this land. Marsellesa and Mundo Maya have been consistent. Anacafe and Obata are the newer plantings, with fewer harvests behind them.
