Burundi Isosa

Nestled in the remote Cankuzo Province — Burundi's least populated region and one largely untouched by the civil conflicts that have shaped much of the country's history — this Bourbon variety grows at 1,730 meters above sea level in an area as pristine as it is storied. Cankuzo has long held women producers in high regard, and this coffee is a testament to that tradition, representing the skill and dedication of the women who cultivate it. Fully washed and meticulously processed, the Burundi Isosa opens with a sweet fragrance of brown sugar and caramel before revealing delicate notes of berry

Merchant's tasting notes: brown sugar, caramel, chocolate, orange
