From the highlands of Nicaragua, this rare anaerobic Maragogipe Natural is a treat for adventurous coffee enthusiasts. Grown by Bayardo Reyes at Finca San Jose de las Nubes, this coffee comes from heritage seeds saved from his grandfather’s original farm, Finca San Jose. After the farm was lost during the Nicaraguan revolution in 1979, these seeds were carefully preserved and later replanted, keeping the family’s connection to Maragogipe alive. The Maragogipe variety is challenging to grow, requiring extra care and resources, but its exceptional flavor profile has earned it a special place in
