Onyx Coffee - Monarch
Monarch sits as an expressive dark roast. It is a more developed roast of Ethiopia and Colombian coffees. Think of Monarch as the darker side to Southern Weather or Geometry, less acidity but more caramel, bitter chocolate, a little molasses. Monarch is the ideal roast for those who drink milk based drinks, it sits a fantastic base for a flat white, or cappuccino. In filter, expect a little more bite and body. What is the roast recency? Onyx recommend brewing with beans that are at least two weeks off roast . All beans are roasted to peak flavour at around 8-12 weeks. We have the option to eit
