WE’VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THIS ONE FOR MONTHS When we first tasted Violet Surge Colombia, we were blown away. The cup was clean, bright, and impossible to forget, but we didn’t have a spot for it. So we asked our producer to save us a future harvest. Months later, it finally made its way to Milwaukee. The coffee left Colombia in mid-September and arrived in early October, giving our roasting team just enough time to rest, tinker, and get to know it before launch. We’re roasting it light to bring forward its vibrant purple-fruit character and lactic acidity, while giving the honey-like sweetnes
