This decaf coffee is Swiss Water Processed. We designed this roast profile to bring out notes of smooth caramel, vanilla, and a creamy body. The Swiss Water Process is a patented process that removes the caffeine using only water. The flavor of the coffee remains delicious and consistent and avoids the unpleasant side effects that result when caffeine is removed using chemicals. This coffee is what we serve for both our decaf espresso and drip coffee in the Mela cafe.
