This lot comes from Coopama, a cooperative in the town of Machado, tucked into the rolling hills of Sul de Minas. Around 3,600 farming families grow coffee together there, most of them small family farms working hillside plots handed down through generations. The co-op has been at it since 1944, and their coffee now travels to more than a dozen countries — including, as of this week, one air roaster in Lincoln, Nebraska.
