Tinamit is a coffee cooperative founded by Kaqchikel coffee growers in San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala, near the shores of Lake Atitlán. Established in 2016 and formally registered as a cooperative in 2018, Tinamit brings together 26 members who grow coffee at elevations of 1,500–2,000 meters above sea level. The cooperative focuses on specialty coffee production while promoting environmentally sustainable farming to preserve the region’s natural beauty.
