Originally from Tegucigalpa, María Dolores discovered coffee after moving to the Honduran mountains with her husband, Juan Adolfo Bautista. Inspired by a meeting of women producers organized by the COMSA cooperative, she founded Finca Mini Granja Dilma in 2016, a sustainable ecosystem where she also grows vegetables, raises animals and produces her own organic fertilizer.
