La cooperativa Nova coffee si occupa della coltivazione di caffè nella provincia settentrionale del Rwanda. In particolare la zona è ricca di terreni dal suolo vulcanico e circondata da una biodiversità tropicale nelle vicinanze del lago Muhazi. Il luogo si presta in modo eccezionale per la coltivazione di caffè unici e identitari con raccolti che vanno da marzo a giugno. Questo caffè in particolare è della varietà Red Bourbon, tra le migliori in termini qualitativi quando viene coltivata a altitudini superiori ai 1500 mt.
