Meyer Lemon | Golden Raisin This is the first coffee that I have offered from Mikiyas Bogale’s washing station located in Gerse and it is a real stunner. Mikiyas Bogale inherited a washing station from his father in 2020, and works with producers in the Gerse area. The area produces about 300 bags of coffee per year. Ripe cherries are harvested and purchased. After a presort, the coffee is pulped with the “Agard” local pulping machine, then density sorted by floating before fermenting in large concrete tanks for 48-72 hours, weather depending.
