Local, small batch roasted, veteran owned, Model Citizen Coffee Company's Indian Monsoon Malabar comes from the Malabar Coast and Karnataka/Kerala. The name is derived from the monsoon winds off the southern coast of India. It gives it a very distinctive flavor akin to a classic Sumatran. The heavy mouth feel goes nicely with its earthy, chocolate notes. We roast this one medium to bring about the earthy flavor.
