Rwanda - Rulindo Murambi - Washed
This lot of Rulindo Murambi was grown by more than 170 family owned farms in Rwanda's Gatsibo district. Smallholder farmers bring their cherries to the centralized Murambi washing station where they are processed with safer, more modernized machinery than individual farmers are able to access. Murambi begins the processing with the quality control method of hand sorting and floating the cherries in water. They are then depulped and fermented.
