Honduras - Josue Ontoniel Martinez - Natural
We're excited to be working with Sean Warner and the fine folks over at Honduran Coffee Alliance for our current Honduran coffees. We are currently roasting 2 different coffees from HCA. Josué Martínez began his coffee journey in 2015 with 1.4 hectares of unused land and no capital. A friend lent him seedlings to plant just 0.25 hectares, which became Finca Las Delicias . He’s grown carefully, believing specialty coffee demands far more attention per hectare, so he prioritizes processing quality over rapid expansion. Coffee Details Variety: Ihcafe 90 Process: Natural Cupping Score: 87.7 Cuppin
Merchant's tasting notes: fresh fruit aroma, complex notes of cherry, pear, honey, bright acidity, lasting sweetness
