In 2008, Diego Bermúdez planted a small family plot on a hillside in Piendamó. Today, Finca El Paraíso operates more like a high-altitude research station, run by Diego and his brother Alex. Everything they have learned about precision fermentation is right here in the cup: lychee, peach, jasmine.
