For our espresso roast , we continue to work with Las Brisas , produced by Marvin Carias in Mataquescuintla, Jalapa. His washed Caturra has the structure we look for in a more classic espresso: rich, full-bodied and sweet, with macadamia, green grape, chocolate and a gentle malic acidity. We roast it specifically for espresso to bring out more body, sweetness and depth, while keeping the cup clean and balanced.
