Single Origin Costa Rica - Whole Bean, 12 oz bag La Finca Las Lajas is located on the fertile slopes of the Poás Volcano in Sabanilla of Alajuela, Costa Rica. To maintain and improve the highly fertile soils of their area, the owners, Francisca and Oscar Chacón, use farming practices, such as growing various trees within their coffee bean plants, to provide shade, strengthen the soil’s ability to resist erosion as well as the soil’s ability to absorb water and carbon dioxide. This all works to protect their land’s future for coffee bean cultivation in the face of changing temperatures and rain
