Gotiti is grown in one of the most famous coffee-producing regions in the world -- Yirgacheffe. The high elevation of the region leads to coffee beans that are small and dense; this makes for a smaller margin of error during roasting, but produces deep and complex flavor. Just like the rest of Ethiopia, Yirgacheffe is divided into many districts, or woredas, and woredas are divided into communities, or kebele .
