Pax & Beneficia Coffee · United States
Victor Bermúdez
What makes it rare: Gesha is a wild coffee from Ethiopia's Gesha forest. The trees give little fruit, and its cup is rated among the very best in coffee. Victor was a lawyer in Bogotá until 2020. He came home to his family's farm in Huila and stayed. Since 2022 he has trained as a barista, roaster and taster. He gives Gesha a shorter ferment than his other coffees, about three days, to keep its flower notes.
