Pax & Beneficia Coffee · United States
Brumas del Zurquí
What makes it rare: SL-28 was picked from one drought-hardy tree in Kenya in 1935. It gives little fruit, and its cup is rated among the very best in coffee. Juan Ramón's family has grown coffee for four generations. Their small mill takes in ripe cherries from farms nearby. They built their own tasting lab and roastery to check every lot.
