Jairo Arcila is a third-generation coffee grower from Quindío, Colombia. He and his wife, Luz Helena Salazar, have two sons, Carlos and Felipe Arcila, who went on to become the co-founders of Cofinet. Jairo began his career at Racafé, one of Colombia’s largest coffee exporters, where he worked as a mill manager. He remained with the company for more than 40 years, gaining extensive experience in coffee processing and quality, before retiring in 2019.
