Kenya Peaberry
Peaberry coffees are super unique; they exist due to a genetic defect that causes only one instead of the typical two seeds to grow inside a coffee cherry. They may muddle the flavors of the main crop when left to co-mingle, but after being sorted out and isolated with other Peaberry seeds they present a wonderful and unique offering from the same plants and crop that the producers have so carefully cultivated. This is one of three coffees we buy from Liwani Farms in Nakuru, Kenya. This well-rounded coffee presents has a medium body and delivers notes of caramel, green apple, and dried dates.
