Finca El Placer, Washed Pink Bourbon - Colombia Karen Burbano, just 18, is the fourth generation in her family to grow coffee. Taught by her father, Don Jose - a pioneer in producing for the specialty market - Karen has absorbed his passion and precision, from harvesting ripe cherries to meticulous fermentation and drying. After graduating in 2022, she was entrusted with a small plot of land at higher altitude, home to 3,000 Pink Bourbon trees. This first lot is the result of her care and her family's guidance.
