Sammy Decaf Jr Blend
We roast decaf the same way we roast everything else at the beanplant: with patience and a refusal to cut corners. Dark roasting decaffeinated coffee is genuinely tricky. The margin for error shrinks and the consequences show up fast. We take the extra time in the roaster anyway, letting the sugars slowly darken into a sweet, cocoa-like richness that settles deep into the beans. The result is a bottomless cup kind of coffee, the kind you keep reaching for without quite knowing why. Rich, chocolaty, smooth, and lingering. Too good to believe it's decaf. Sammy would agree.
