Los Milagros

Mario and Angelica Montenegro farm Los Milagros in Jinotega, Nicaragua. The name means the miracles, and it comes from what the land gives back. The family grows cabbage, carrots, lettuce and potatoes alongside coffee. They are moving the farm toward coffee because they believe it is better for the land. Their sons are Elmer Leandro and Yader Antonio. The lot ferments just under 20 hours, is fully washed, and is planted to Caturra with Red and Yellow Catuai at 1,400 meters. Sourced through Gold Mountain Coffee Growers.
