Colombia Aponte Honey
Aponte is a region inside the department of Nariño, well known for producing stellar honey processed coffees. Up at 1,700 to 2,100 meters, the air stays cool and the temperatures hold steady all year, and a crisp wind almost always blows through. That’s the perfect setup for drying coffee evenly, and it gives these honey processed coffees a clean, crisp acidity that’s unique to the region. Mixed Colombian varieties. We’re keeping this roast on the lighter side of a medium to let the processing shine. In the bag: Net Weight 12oz (340g) of locally roasted coffee. In the cup: When hot, tart raspb
Merchant's tasting notes: tart raspberry, green apple, mango-like citrus, caramel, cocoa nib
