Uganda - Mabono Station 4 Hills
We are excited to share this honey-process coffee from Mabono Station on the slopes of Mount Elgon, Uganda. The station sits between four hills, Mabono, Namesti, Itimbwa, and Bukalasi, and gives farmers in these isolated communities a nearby place to sell ripe coffee cherries. Because selling cherry is still a relatively new practice for many farmers on Mount Elgon, Mountain Harvest’s micro-washing stations also serve as places for education and demonstration.
