Während Robusta (Coffea canephora) weltweit meist in tiefen Lagen unter 700 Metern wächst, gedeiht dieser Kaffee im ugandischen Hochland. Hochland-Robusta – eine Seltenheit Robusta, botanisch Coffea canephora , liebt es warm und wächst normalerweise in Tieflandregionen unter 700 Metern.
