Chocolate With Heritage Chocolate has been made right here in Norwich since the late 1700s , when Norwich entrepreneur Christopher Leffingwell operated what historians identify as Connecticut’s first chocolate mill . Centuries later, we bring that chocolate-making tradition back to Norwich—doing it slowly, simply, and with an appreciation for how chocolate was made before industrial shortcuts took over.
