Rarities: Finca La Josefina - Mejorado Finca La Josefina sits on the Cayambe Coca Natural Reserve in Ecuador, making it an extremely beautiful place to grow coffee. The reserve is home to mountains, swamps, lakes, and hundreds of species. Leopoldo Andrade & Ligia Merizalde chose this as their optimal place to start La Josefina. We met Leopoldo at World of Coffee this year and after we cupped his coffees we knew we had to get this Mejorado. This coffee undergoes multiple stages of fermentation in and out of cherry before being finished with an Oxidation segment right before it's dried on raise
