Guatemala – Asobagri
This Guatemala has a cheerful brightness while still being nutty and smooth. The Asobagri Coop was founded in 1989 by 20 K’anjob’al Mayan coffee and cardamom farmers. Increased revenues brought by Fair Trade certification has provided the community with access to improved transportation, health and education services. Spectacularly rugged terrain has preserved this isolated corner of Guatemala in its indigenous ways.
