Decaf Mexico HG EP
Decaf Process - Swiss Water Region - Chiapas Elevation - 1200-1750 masl Roast Level - Light Medium "HG" = High Grown. Tends to mean the beans are denser, matured slower. "EP" = European Preparation. More rigorous hand-sorting. Fewer defects. Larger beans. Better coffee. What a lovely coffee! Lighter body. Mild acidity - malic acid, like in apple peels. Cocoa. I'm a big fan of this coffee as a drip or French Press. A few regulars have told me this is their favorite decaf espresso since a Peruvian (Laguna de los Condores, if I'm not mistaken) bean I offered a couple years ago.
Merchant's tasting notes: cocoa, mild acidity, lighter body
