Yep: 30 bucks a pound. This is a beautiful micro-lot coffee that hails from Colombia’s famed Huila coffee region. This rarely grown “pink bourbon” varietal has a uniquely sweet, strawberry-kiwi, sugar cookie with a hint-of-something-grilled taste. It was grown by a tiny cooperative that is trying to do its own (laborious) green coffee processing, instead of outsourcing the work to large processing centers who can take less care.
