Brazil - Sitio Sassafras
This is our fourth consecutive year working with Felipe Croce and FAF Coffees, and each year the table gets more interesting. We cupped 23 Brazilian lots in total this season, eight of them from FAF, and Sitio Sassafras was among the ones that stood out most clearly. On the sample cupping fruity and floral aromatics, bergamot lift, citric brightness, and a sweetness that was present throughout the cup. It is a coffee that announces itself early and maintains the profile across different temperatures.
