Hawaiian Ka’u While often overshadowed by it’s neighbor Kona to the Northwest, the Ka’u district of Hawaii’s big island also produces some of the finest Hawaiian coffee available. The excellence of Ka’u coffee comes from the richness of the volcanic soil that provides the ideal nutrients to promote healthy plant growth.
