Colombia Flor del Desierto (Natural) Only the strongest, fittest flowers can bloom in the desert. Our Flor del Desierto, or flower of the desert, is sourced through Cuatro Vientos' network of selected farms in Acevedo, Huila. Coffee is selectively handpicked by smallholder producers and their families. Once picked, ripe, red cherry is brought to a newly constructed drying facility in Acevedo, Huila called Siete Soles Drying Complex. At Siete Soles, cherry is floated to remove floaters and then lightly fermented for 48 hours. Then, cherry is laid on patios to sun dry. Cherry is raked frequently
