Zion is a smooth, light-medium roast with natural notes of chocolate, sugar cane, and caramel. Approachable and balanced, it’s the kind of coffee made for an everyday cup. But behind this coffee is a family and a farm. High in Colombia’s Sierra Nevada, Avelino Rodríguez, his wife Luza, and their ten children grow the Caturra coffee that goes into Zion. Their family began cultivating this variety in 2019 on just 1.5 acres of land , 1,400 meters above sea level.
