Mathilde's French Roast
Dark, smoky and unmistakably French roast — without the burnt edge. Mathilde's is the darkest coffee we make, with a dark chocolate body, a smoky backbone and a smooth, low-acid finish that holds up to cream and drinks just as well black. From Our Family's Farms in Brazil Mathilde's is part of our Family Line , named for the people who shaped our coffee story. Like the rest of that line, it comes from our own family's farms in Brazil's Sul de Minas region — land Augusto Carneiro's family has cultivated since 1890. Roasting this dark leaves nowhere to hide: it takes dense, properly ripened bean
