Our relationship with Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza or Environmental Fortress Farm (FAF) in Brazil dates back to our first days in roasting over 11 years ago (we were exploring FAF before we ever roasted our first bean!). The FAF organization is well-known for championing sustainability in Brazil. Ivan and Rose dos Santos (along with Ivan's siblings) began a partnership with FAF in 2008 to change to sustainable, quality driven coffee farming.
