Deep-toned and juicy with vibrant notes of red currant and dark cherry followed by a long cocoa nib finish. Origin: Kagere Coffee Factory, Nyeri, Kenya. Process: Washed and sundried. Elevations: 1800 metres above sea level. Varietal: SL28, SL34, Batian, Ruiru 11. The Kagere Coffee Factory was established and is operated by the Othaya Farmers' Cooperative Society. Grown on the fertile slopes of Mount Kenya, this coffee is prized for its vibrant complexity. After coffee is delivered and sorted, it is immediately depulped using disk pulpers, fermented underwater in concrete tanks for 15-24 hours
