Es soll nicht heißen, dass ein Kaffee zweimal in der Trommel war, sondern nur, dass er solange geröstet wurde, dass das typische zweite Knacken einsetzt. Genau so ist das bei unserem Schmole-Espresso. Der lange Röstprozess auf vergleichsweise niedriger Temperatur bis knapp unter 220°C bewirkt ein herzhaftes, leicht rauchiges Aroma mit gewollt bitteren Nuancen.
