Brandon selected this lot for two courses in his 2026 USBC Finals routine: espresso and signature beverage. For the espresso course the draw was something specific. He was looking for a coffee that carried the chocolatey, sweet character of the coffees he grew up with, but presented through the lens he has developed as a barista working in specialty. Papayo delivered that bridge. For the signature course, it paired naturally with the savory direction he was taking, and the creamy, fruit-forward sweetness gave him exactly what the course needed.
