ANDRES CARDONA - BLACK HONEY
From Andres Cardona's farm La Ilusión in Santa Bárbara, Antioquia, this black honey coffee brings together hands-on processing and years of experimentation. Made entirely from Castillo, the coffee ferments in whole cherry for one week before being depulped without water, leaving the mucilage intact through twelve days on raised beds. Grown at 1,650 meters, this lot offers a deeply sweet, cacao-driven expression of a young producer building his own brand through Unblended's Young Producer Program.
